Guest Presentations are available for businesses, organizations, and institutions. These are either informational lectures or hands-on workshops educating others on meditation, yoga, visual art, or intuitive painting. All presentations are taught in a way that is fun and engaging to the participants. They are designed to explore optimum life skills and personal wellness. Helina Metaferia has been a featured guest presenter for youth at schools, professionals in their workplace, inmates at correctional institutions, hospital patients, resident of group homes, conference participants, and more. Her effective presentations come from years of working as a teaching artist in various settings.

TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS OFFERED:

Visual Art
This presentation introduces the visual art form as a tool for self-expression, creativity and social dialogue. The participants are educated on the role that art plays in cultures and are able to explore mediums such as drawing, painting, and collage for a hands-on, engaging program.

Intuitive Art
Participants are introduced to meditation through the visual arts medium. They are instructed in guided imagery exercises and artistic explorations. This workshop uses art as a transformational tool for reflection and insight into our lives.

Meditation
Meditation is an excellent tool to transform emotions and balance the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of ourselves. Participants learn how to quiet the mind and still the body through passive and active meditation practices. The ancient art is taught in a practical way that integrates the modern experience.

Yoga
This presentation teaches the art of yoga, a holistic practice that combines physical postures with breath and meditation. The class applies the principals of yoga to daily wellness.
