About The Meta Experience:
The Meta Experience threads the visual and healing arts together as a way of exposing people to the world of creative wellness. It began as a way for artist and holistic practitioner Helina Metaferia to blend her two professions. After years of teaching meditative arts classes, exhibiting her art, and offering wellness services, Helina created the company with the intention of spreading her message on a larger scale.
The Meta Experience now offers its private services in the Baltimore/Washington, DC region and holds art exhibitions and self-development classes across the nation. We are committed to inspiring and educating people on the transformational healing light within.
About the Founder:
Helina Metaferia is a holistic practitioner and fine artist. She is certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy, Thai Massage, and is a Reiki Master. She received formal art education at Temple University's Tyler School of Art and at Morgan State University, where she obtained her BA in Fine Art.
Helina has been represented by art galleries in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. Her art can be found in museums and on large-scale urban murals. She has been teaching visual and healing art classes in community based programs since 2004. Helina is the owner and founder of The Meta Experience, a visual and healing arts company that provides wellness in people's lives.
